They're at it again, now with brand new PureBOOST colourways.

A clear statement of intent from adidas for 2017…

The year has gotten off to an interesting start with regards to adidas footwear. First, we were introduced to the all new EQT ADV 91-16 Turbo Red and a number of other new colourways in this silhouette. Now, not even a month later, they’re hitting us with some all-new colourways of the PureBOOST 2.0. It looks like February might be competing with January when it comes to having more month left than money.

When it comes to anything BOOST related, adidas always has my attention. Nothing is different when it comes to the release of the PureBOOST 2.0, in fact, the new burgundy colourway has got me chomping at the bit for tomorrow’s release. Boasting a sock-like knit upper with leather detailing on the heel, as well as a double wrap tongue that provides support for any shaped foot- this BOOST powered sole, with a clear Yeezy influence on the lacing system, is definitely one for sneakerheads and runners alike.

Word is that they’re going to be retailing from around R2299.00, which is only a small step down from the UltraBOOST 2.0 that retails at R2799.00.

Are they worth the spend?
